About

I am a painter based in Lund, Sweden.

My work unfolds through animal portraits animals dressed as kings, writers, soldiers, and politicians. By placing human roles onto non-human figures, I explore identity, power, and vulnerability from a quieter distance, where meaning reveals itself slowly rather than directly.

Alongside these portraits, landscapes form the other pulse of my practice. The Swedish nature, and especially Lund, shapes not only what I paint, but how I see. Shifting light, muted colors, long seasons, and silence all leave their traces on the canvas.

I am deeply drawn to mood landscape painting, where atmosphere carries more weight than form, and stillness speaks louder than detail. These works are less about describing a place and more about lingering within a feeling.

Nature, for me, is not simply a motif it is a presence. A space of reflection, a quiet force, and the origin from which my work emerges.
